Fascinating pictures. I can imagine the barrel opening being cut and intact for years and years, until a ring slipped and a stave let loose.

ReplyDeleteI can just imagine those footprints having been there for generations. I wonder whose they were. Some pre-historic man? A pict? A Roman perhaps?
