You were promised a post dedicated to the Common (Harbour) seals of Loch Fleet...
One of the days, we happened upon them just as the tide turned and the channels created a playground of rip currents;

This Shelduck was singularly unimpressed with the gymnastics going on in the flow! |
Hello, great shots of the seals. I love the view in the last photo, pretty scene. Happy Sunday, enjoy your day and new week ahead!
ReplyDeleteI love watching seals, they know how to enjoy the moment.

We love watching seals. Mom won't let us play with them though. We don't have them here but we see them at the ocean.

Nothing like a good sun bath...Coffee is on
ReplyDeleteseals are great... they are bautiful animals and it is a pleasure to watch them... they have something peaceful in their eyes but nevertheless they are full of energy when they are in the water :o)
ReplyDeleteI will have to get me some of that Capaldi ice-cream I think. It sounds delicious by its fat content alone!
ReplyDeleteI have always wondered why there are no seals around these parts here, but according to a friend, they used to be here and then were killed either for fur or meat. Such a shame because they are such beautiful animals.
Crikey Mum sure would like to see those seals. When she was a little girl and grown ups asked her what she wanted to be when she grew up she always said "a seal at Taroonga Park zoo".

DeleteWell Charlie mate, those seals get very well looked after, all the food made available without any of the dangers... and they are very clever critters indeed!!! Yxx
I love the seals. They are fun to watch.
ReplyDeleteI love them!
ReplyDeleteI'm not reading anything in order here. There are many only posting blogs weekly, I am discombobulated!!! xo
