  8. I am not familiar with this book. i have never read a Seuss book, but have seen many of the quotes. to do my poem i went to Amazon and read the first 4 pages of the Cat in the Hat to see what it was about. i may be the only woman in history that has not read one, but then i have not seen wizard of oz or the Sound of Music either. should have been a man

LOL... it's not a gender thing Sandra, plenty men enjoy those movies - including my dad! It may be generational, and certainly geographical. It didn't hit Britain until after I had left school and I only became familiar with Seuss, really, when I emigrated to Australia, where plenty folk had grown up with the cat in the hat... Yxx
