WYSIWYG

What You See Is What You Get. This is a journal blog, an explore-blog, a bit of this and that blog. Sharing where the mood takes me. Perhaps it will take you too.

Menosukhi Repawt

It has been a while since my PDSA pup, Poppy, sent a repawt card. It arrived last week.

For those who are more recently arrived at the MENObloggy...

The YAMster has a handful of charities she supports monthly, two of which are animal organisations.
The Guide Dogs UK where I currently sponsor Irvine; and the Peoples Dispensary for Sick Animals.

Poppy has been getting my support money for a little over a year now. Both Irvine and Poppy are my second supported dogs. It is my way of sharing in pet ownership, as I cannot realistically have my own dog at the moment.

  8. I took a look at Irvine, and have read this and you are a blessing to these dogs for supporting them. we have a guide dog school here in our town, they are seeing eye dogs for the blind. Poppy is beautiful and so glad the meds are helping her. my cousin had a German Shepherd named poppy back in the 60's and that dog ate the arms and legs off her sofa and once ate a roast that was meant for Sunday dinner. the name poppy flipped me into memory lane

  9. Oh my goodness what a precious one Poppy is! And the same can be said for Irvine. How lucky they are to have your support, and what a gift to you to share in their life with the reports you receive. The best win-win.

  11. Good work, Yam. So many critters have been given up for adoption around here, due to owners going into homes...
