Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.

Hi Yam - the John Macrae poem is the one most used and probably recognised. We need to respect all peoples, live together harmoniously and get rid of war ... I do remember - and we must not forget - Hilary

For 13 years she fought to have his death recognized as one caused by combat. It was and today the nation watched this amazing lady stand with our government and lay a wreath for all mothers.
