...did I mention that I got a bread oven for Christmas? Dad passed it on to me. I get experimental with it. Only had one fail, the rest have all proven to be fab; cakes too! |
This one was a half whole wheat half white flour with sunflower seeds and using olive oil instead of butter. A little ding in the top, but yummeroonies!!! |
I was always enamoured of descriptions by the Brontes and Austen of rooms having 'aspects'. I love that I have such a room! |
Another attempt at the lights of Weymss Bay. It's over a mile away, over the water. I just bought a tripod. Now just need another clear night to give it another go!!! |

That sewer pump is a lovely machine. I miss my old township days! I am more and more tempted to acquire a bread machine. I can almost smell it from here.

DeleteJoanne, you really must treat yourself to one for the new place... seriously, I never thought I would make so much use of it as I do. Not always my own mixes either... this one was actually a supermarket own brand ready-bread. Just add the water and the oil and be patient for the deliciousness!!! Making up one's own mixes is great fun though. Yxx
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I can smell the fresh yummy bread all the way across the pond. Well done YaYa!!
ReplyDeleteI have a bread machine now maybe I need to get it out of storage.

Cheers, Gail (now safely back in Aberdeen for a just a few days....)
Homemade bread is THE best bread ever. Mom has been wanting to get a breadmaker too. But Dad probably wouldn't try all the funky stuff she would make. she would be eating lots of bread herself:)

ReplyDeleteAt first I thought you had taken a photo of a bright yellow locomotive!
ReplyDeleteI used to have a bread machine, but was never that happy with it. I didn't want to experiment, I just wanted nice bread that was still nice to eat on day 2 (not available in Norway, hence the machine). In the end I used it so little that I couldn't even get the inside bowl out anymore!
Klem,
Mara
There's nothing better than fresh bread! I just don't make it anymore, since JB cannot have it.
