What You See Is What You Get. This is a journal blog, an explore-blog, a bit of this and that blog. Sharing where the mood takes me. Perhaps it will take you too.

Menoluschable: About Nice Things

In case you hadn't fully appreciated the fact, we are now in the countdown till Christmas. Why do I taunt you with the glaringly obvious? Well, you may yet be searching for ideas for pressies for all those folk who already appear to have everything!

I have previously posted under the menoluschable label about the beeswax wrappers and also the silverwork of Puddle's mum, Allison. Anything from there might fill a parcel or three.

Today, let me remind you that our good pal Mara - mum to Miss Oswin (the MBC in the WWU) and to Brom (travel bear extraordinaire) - is a most talented craft worker and has a blog with her work for sale, the profits of which go each year to a charity. This year, the charity has been the Netherlands Mental Health outfit, Wij Zijn MIND (We Are Mind). Next year it will be for a charity which supports sports for the disabled.

For this festive season, too, Mara's mum, Janneka, is joining the party with some of her laceworks. (CONFESSION TIME: I have nabbed two of these already!)

You will find all the different mice which are yet to find a home, you will find a number of fabric boxes, such as this -

You will find crochet items to decorate your sideboards and tables -

You will find socks for bubs -

AND - you will find Nativity Sets!!! (I already bagged my one of these, too!)

I mean, really, how can you resist???

PLEASE BE AWARE THAT SOME OF THE ITEMS PICTURED HERE MAY ALREADY BE SOLD - BUT MARA WILL BE ADDING MORE, SO KEEP CHECKING!

    1. Not sure whether they might fit your dad! Perhaps they would fit you though... New idea: doggy socks. Hm.

  4. I wish my mother were alive to see the web site. she would want everything on it. we don't buy Christmas gifts and have not since 2006... but if mother was alive I would have to buy her the nativity... it is so HER...

    1. She would be late in that case, as they have all sold already and I am not planning on making any more for this year anyway...
