Welcome to the start of an eighth year of Dosing with Wild YAM! Yes, peeps, this is the seventh blogiversary for this one!
THE FIRST POST warned everyone what they might be in for. Nothing much has changed.
Except, the menoplyxinaemia which prompted the need for a verbal outlet has, at long last, begun to recede... if one counts the fact that no new or nefarious symptoms have occurred for over two years now. This does not mean one has been free of symptoms. There are going to be one or two which are here for the duration, I suppose. Notably, menomonomumal.
I have become a lump of lard in the past decade. That goes with the territory, apparently. Or genes. Whateva, bruh.
Through blogging, though, I have found mental and emotional stretching of a most valuable kind. I have had the privilege of meeting so many people in many different places. Even if we haven't met in the flesh, we have made bonds of value and worth. Those I have met have proven true of heart and I am proud to say that two or three very solid new friendships have arisen. Who'd've thunk it?
Thank you to all my readers, some of whom have been here from the first year and some who have only come in the last year. I Love you all and am enormously grateful for the interactions we share, at all levels. Here's to more meno mayhem!!!
I would normally be all organised and ready to join in a fun day like this - but - well - you know. Still, I do want to mark Dr Seuss Day, so please visit my good blogpal Big Boy and his Mama as they lead the way!

Happy 7th blogaversary YAM...7 is my favorite number so I'm gunk ho for this your 7th year. I think I have been around for at least 1/2 of the time. Meeting you in 2016 WHAT a treat and the fun continues.
ReplyDeleteAs for Meno trip...for me anyway it was more about (getting to) the destination and not so much the journey. My
sleepless nights are still with me. It is rare to sleep an entire night. Some nights I lie awake for hours.
I have just learned to cope...at least I'm retired now and not expected to be sharp as a tack.
I prefer to journey with my nephew KAT. MOL. Hugs HiC
You gave me an ideal for a blog post this month.
ReplyDeleteHappy blogiversary!
ReplyDeleteHappy Blog Anniversary.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes.
Happy Blogiversary! I'm now trying to remember when I fisrt came across your wonderfully varied, creative and original blog - quite near the start I think. For many of us, blogging has been, and continues to be a truly rewarding adventure. Here's to seven more years.
ReplyDeleteCheers,
Gail (who'll be celebrating twelve years of blogging this July).

DeleteIt was indeed early on... I had been reading blogs for several months before diving in myself. I had discovered "Blogville" and you were among those which attracted my attention. It took me a little bit of courage to start commenting on all the blogs - but my first time at your place was this post. Only two months into my new adventure! Yxx
Happy 7th Blogiversary!
ReplyDeleteI agree with you, blogging has given me friends all over the world, and I look forward to meeting each friend each day.. thanks for the shout to Seuss day blog hop... I am in my 11 year of blogging, I still have 6 friends that I met in 2009, others have moved on but more came, and you were one of those. I first met you on LLB in our back yard and glad I did
ReplyDeleteI'm glad symptoms are receding. I had surgical menopause, and it was partly a relief from dysmenorrhea.
ReplyDeleteHappy anniversary!
I take such joy to talking to people around the world.
Sweet fur persons with Dr. Seuss ~ and sending lots of healing energy hugs to you ^_^
