What You See Is What You Get. This is a journal blog, an explore-blog, a bit of this and that blog. Sharing where the mood takes me. Perhaps it will take you too.
This is The Father and his good pal Mr B meeting and greeting for the first time in months. As of Thursday last week in Scotland, those who had been 'shielding' could, at last, have indoor visitors. I was in the kitchen baking for two days, preparing a special afternoon tea. They had a great time, the pair of them.
Gail, Bertie, Mara and I are all in agreement!! Blessings to Mr. B for coming to visit your father. This isolation has been so hard for those of us who get out for essentials. I cannot imagine how it has been for those confined. I know a good tea was enjoyed by all. Hugs Cecilia
Hi Yam - so pleased to see this ... great fun to see 'the old boys' together again ... and well done on all the treats you gave them ... I can smell the good aromas from here!! All the best - Hilary
Lovely. Lovely. Lovely. Everything is lit up--the photos, the elbow bumps and the promise of tasty treats being baked. The uplifting aroma infuses me. Thank you dear Yamini. Hugs. xx
We still aren't supposed to visit any senior homes - momma's grandparents live in town in an independent living facility and she hasn't seen the since December.
The photo of them touching elbows appeals to the heart. It really touched my heart seeing them see each other for the first time in a long time. Your photos are just gorgeous I really really love that black and white. And of course the Shadows I do love shadow pictures
I am so glad things are on the up again regarding personal contact. Even if it is only an elbow-bump, it is so good to see.

The other photos are beautiful but none compares to the sight of your father enjoying the companionship of his friend.
