However, I kept saying I would make him a coat. Not just that, but also a tail, by which I could trail him around the house to wherever he was needed.
I present you the well-dressed stool!!!
The 'tail' is just a length of single crochet tied to the rise and drop lever underneath. Easily grabbed and then I can 'walk' Clarkie to the required position. Needless to say, I started with no real plan (or pattern) and just followed my instincts. I think this is the definition of yarn-bombing!!!
So, perhaps, I am yarn-bombing my feet? Another pair of slippers, resembling ballet pumps...
Very nice. I especially like the slippers. Nice and colourful.

Hi Yam than goodness you have Clarke close by anytime you need him and he is dressed to the 9's too. I love his attire.
ReplyDeleteIn your 2nd slipper shot I think you are doing a very excellent ballet pose and well done on the fun mixture of yarns and it appears the are matched nicely to your top.
Sending lots of hugs and purrs that you and Clarke get to spend some much needed '2(feet) one 1(Clarke' time tonight
Cecilia
Very clever. The crochet ballet pumps are a hit. Beautifully modelled too!
ReplyDeleteCheers, Gail.
PS Bertie wants to know if you've seen the new story about the St Bernard who collapsed on Scafell Pike and had to be stretchered off by the Mountain Rescue? https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2020/jul/26/st-bernard-dog-rescued-after-collapsing-on-scafell-pike
And now you can pirouette your way along with Clarke:) Love Clarke's coat.
