  3. Women too. Some days that opporunity to reflect is sacrificed to some other god - (the oh god I'm tired is one such) so its good to get reminders. F must have got one today - she arrived home in a calmer mood. Furrings and purrings. Mr T. (Whose blessings are manyfold)

  5. Having read a biography of Dickens a couple of years ago, I'm not sure he's someone I'd take life advice from in all circumstances (certainly not on how to treat one's wife...) but today's Saturday saying is good.
