WYSIWYG

What You See Is What You Get. This is a journal blog, an explore-blog, a bit of this and that blog. Sharing where the mood takes me. Perhaps it will take you too.

Menorflexion; Alpha-Betting Resilience

Yesterday saw the letter "W" in the Martha Simpson affirmation alphabet. (Please note that this series has been given its own label here, of 'ABReflctions'.)

"X"-ray... yes, another moment of reflection. Take an overview of what has been read this month and how - if at all - it has affected you. Have any of these daily musings been something that you could take hold of and use to improve life a little bit for yourself?

  1. Having been away from blogging (and alas commenting) for some time, this is my first visit to find your posts to the Resilience Alphabet. What a great idea. Now I'll need to work my way backward and catch up on what I've missed. X-ray as a look below the surface is clever. I've been devoted to taking exquisite self-care during time, and it's certainly been serving me well, and for that I am truly grateful.

  2. Looking myself I give it me a 10. We are eating well (meals are the highlight of the days LOL) I'm trying to find new recipes. Exercise has changed...just not into walking in masks, on trails, so we are riding the recumbent bike daily.
I've gradually increased my level and time to 45 minutes on level 6. We are trying to walk around the neighborhood. No masks needed here.
Less of would be Ice cream...but again something to look forward to having.
    Hugs to you all

  6. I did not even have to think one second because I had all those answers as soon as I read the question. Do more exercise do less computer-related stuff. And a one activity that would change my life completely is walking my miles everyday or more

  8. Oooh, this is a good one.
We went for a wonderful drive to see the colours today. JB cannot see them, with his colour deficiency, but he was happy to drive and pretend things are normal.
I hope you are doing well.
