As we departed Bute under threat of storms and ferry closures, the passengers of the Argyle were treated to this stunning moonrise. Now as the year 2013 closes its door, let me wish you all a safe, fun and happy time this Hogmanay from a bright and shiny Scotland!!

Lovely shots, and great stonework in that last.
ReplyDeleteWe do enjoy seeing all of your lovely photos.
ReplyDeleteReminding yourself what you love/loved about home is never a bad thing. Looking at history like that it is hard to imagine you found it changed much after your time away - but did you notice profound change? I notice it when I go home to NZ but then my family are living differently now so I don't visit a familiar house/farm. xxx F & Mr T
ReplyDeletewe would love to live there!!! sadly our dad didn't like the idea many moons ago and now it is tooooo late... sigh...
ReplyDeleteI particularly love the blues of the moonrise over Bute.

DeleteNo... this was from the Isle of Bute. I landed up in Dunoon (technically mainland, although such an isthmus, it requires a ferry). Yxx
Your blast from the past is terrific! Especially the moon rise. Thanks for sharing and we wish you a marvellously Happy Day!
ReplyDeleteIf only our Canada was as close.
