What You See Is What You Get. This is a journal blog, an explore-blog, a bit of this and that blog. Sharing where the mood takes me. Perhaps it will take you too.

Menorise; Saturday Sayings

 "The first day of spring is one thing;
the first spring day is quite another.
The difference between them is sometimes as great as a month."

  5. Hi Yam - it's beautiful down here and things are popping up, or budding up ... so wonderful to see - and that bright yellow thing - even better! Enjoy - Hilary

  6. spring here is heralded by pollen falling like rain, it has been doing it for 2 months. it gets earlier every year. we went to 87 yesterday and expect to do it again today and tomorrow. we are so much hotter than we used to be and so much earlier they are going to change hurricane season to start in may and end the end of november. the higher the heat the more chance of hurricanes...

  7. I love that quote and OMCs is is so true. I recall one March day (after Spring's arrival) back in the late 1970's we had 18" of snow

  9. One week ago we had just returned to our apartment after having to live with our son for a few days. Our state's power grid could not stand the strain of really cold weather. Many folks lost power during several days of cold weather. Tree damage and home damages. All sad. We were able to spend time with our grand kids while staying with our son who had power for heat and keeping foods frozen. This past week 30 degrees C. namaste, janice xx
