What You See Is What You Get. This is a journal blog, an explore-blog, a bit of this and that blog. Sharing where the mood takes me. Perhaps it will take you too.
Sadly the recent storms around Aberdeenshire have uprooted even some of the deeper rooted trees. Thursday's bike ride up Deeside revealed yet more devastation after last weekend's winds, and many footpaths that had been cleared of obstacles following Arwen and Barra in December are now closed again so Bertie and I are more limited in where we can walk just now.
this photo is so beautiful. It makes me fell happy looking at it. just like the tree would make me feel if I were there with you taking the photo... the weather is always something to chat about, but more and more I see wide swings of up, down and all around all over the world. or maybe it is just we have instant access to what the weather is. Like who know that one day I would know instantly what the weather is in Scotland, England, France, England, Australia and be in daily contact with people in other countries. My mothers mind would be completly blown
Oh, Dolly, Dolly, Dolly. That little tree is working so hard to hang onto life.
ReplyDeleteI think it works the same with humans.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful

Beautiful photo!
ReplyDeleteWe love trees that grow by the sea and lean away from the prevailing weather.
ReplyDeleteDolly is a very wise woman. Love the picture. We are learning about facing storms with strength. Hope you are well. Lee and Phod
ReplyDeleteNicely paired! Not talking about Dolly's 'attributes', rather the photo and the quote. namaste, janice xx
