I was about to call these cupolas but I suppose that, strictly speaking, cupolas are domed. Great to see weathervanes, however, a relic from the past. Now you can get wind speed, direction and projected duration on your phone.
You have proven with these absolutely stunning photos that I need to get out of the house more. To have things to post we need to go see those things. So happy that you found these to post I love to see things in other countries and this is all absolutely gorgeous
Are those pickle fork things a uniquely Scottish feature of buildings, or weather vanes that have somehow been depleted? We love that last photo bestest. furrings and purrings Mr T and F
