Menottomanly; A Tigger's Place Is His Castle

As mentioned yesterday, Tigger has several prepared places in his home upon which he can nestle and ponder the state of nature and navels. You got a glimpse of one of those in that post, from which he has prime bird teevee. Here, though, is the long shot of that turret set up in the garage...

What more could a venerable tabby called Tigger want? How about a cosy fire and food served at the door?

That's a mobile igloo. It doesn't have wheels, but it does have hyoomon staff prepared to carry the palanquin up or down the stairs. Most likely to the peep's bedroom. In the other bedroom, there is the Satellite. It is not quite up to the heights of the Greek Condo he enjoyed, but still pretty impressive.

As well as the provided positions, there is a plentiful supply of casual posts:

Upon what does the Tigger gaze?
Well, there is The Stream, lots of trees, and passing traffic.

My primary role during the next couple of weeks is to ensure that Tigger has all he needs, including cuddles, grooming, feeding (natch), cleaning away of 'leavings' and access to all areas as required. There may be some watering and tending of seedlings, too - though not at the allotment. That will just have to fend for itself until F returns.

The deal from my side is a comfy bed, a pretty garden, birds to watch, and buses and trains to take me to interesting places. Just how many places I get to will be determined by several factors. Not least, a body that demands twice the amount of rest for the activity undertaken! I hope that ratio will improve over the next few months, but I am also of an age that accepts... well... age... and what comes with it!

Anyway, watch for more random reporting from Tigger's Castle!

  3. Tigger even has his own Stairway to Heaven (well not literally- wouldn’t wish that on him) a little help from his friends to achieve whatever he wants goes a long way. He’s still an inquisitive fella isn’t he…..
You’ll do well together. I take it window cleaning isn’t on your job description.
