What You See Is What You Get. This is a journal blog, an explore-blog, a bit of this and that blog. Sharing where the mood takes me. Perhaps it will take you too.
I too love Chagall and in particular his stained glass church windows. There are some truly stunning ones in the Fraumünster in Zurich, and I've also seen his work in the more intimate setting of a small village church in Tudely, Kent. Recommended for a future visit now you have wheels? Cheers, Gail.
Hari OM Oh, I say - wasn't aware of this one and have it bookmarked! If I can face the thought of the Dartford Tunnel, it will most definitely be getting a visit! Yxx
Hi Yam - wonderful images from within and without the Cathedral. I only had a quick walk around when I went down to visit ... as my cousin's daughter was exhibiting a piece there (in the north transept) - I wrote about it on Sunday 27 March 2016 "Jacob's Ladder "Descent". I'm looking forward to more news re the Grey - I admire your tenacity and decision in this department - and sincerely hope you have many happy journeys in her - she's a 'her' I hope, most cars seem to be. Cheers Hilary
You seem to have been rather taken by our 'little local'... If you don't face the Dartford Tunnel how do you propose to cross the Thames - further west? As in really far west!
Hari OM Well, I have just been informed by my more knowledgeable sibling, Mac2, that the southbound access is actually the Dartford Bridge and very high... might need to be a bit more familiar with conditions. I suspect west is best! Yxx
Some stunning pictures here, Yamm.
