What You See Is What You Get. This is a journal blog, an explore-blog, a bit of this and that blog. Sharing where the mood takes me. Perhaps it will take you too.
Completing the round trip for The Grey's first outing, here are the remains from the Lunderston Bay stop, from which we gazed across the water to the Hutch and finally boarded the ferry...
A great set of atmospheric photos. Looking at them, it felt like I was really there. I wonder if the beach clean station idea works. I hope so. Cheers, Gail.
Hari OM Evidence of my eyes over those three days is that, yes, it does, in that I saw now stray litter at all... then again, there were ample bins provided and used. Yxx
Hi Yam - that's wonderful ... I thoroughly have enjoyed your travels ... and am full of admiration - you definitely hardly need the support Hettie gives you as you travel, she's there for a hug when needed. I too love the bench ... amazing work ... while the pick the litter point is just a great idea - I'm glad the picker is available. Lovely photos - cheers Hilary
What a wonderful idea to have that Beach Clean Station. It’s too bad that some have to pick up after others, but it’s a sad truth of modern “civilization, and some debris is no doubt blown onto the beach, or delivered by the tides. The country around there looks idyllic. Just make sure that Donald Trump doesn’t come and build another golf course there - and please encourage everyone to boycott his existing properties!
Is that the SS Waverly in your first photo? She's due back in the Thames in September. Quite a magnificent sight isn't she? I see a few hardy souls out sailing on what must have been a fairly breezy day (braw?).
This is a whole new travel method for you! I have been enjoying it. XX
ReplyDeleteWonderful photography!
ReplyDeleteWhat's that horned creature watching the cruiser?
