What You See Is What You Get. This is a journal blog, an explore-blog, a bit of this and that blog. Sharing where the mood takes me. Perhaps it will take you too.
Hari Om Yes... in Scotland the drystone walls built as sheep shelters are known as shielings... not sure if the same word is used in south of the border... Yxx
Hari OM It's a really interesting, small museum - and one that is yet again run by volunteers! There are bits still under development, but it didn't detract from the experience. Yxx
Hi Yam - it looks a really interesting cultural museum and appears to have some great ideas for children as well - and as Tigger's Mum mentions the museum looks brought up to date ... cheers Hilary
I like every thing you showed us but specail attention to all those shoes. they look very similar to some of the styles now. except they are worn, most people toss them before they are worn. no cobblers needed these days
Hari OM That's the place I parked up at Ashton-under-Lyne, per this post... and you can see a bit more in movie form over on the tubular - click the badge in the side bar. Yxx

ReplyDeleteI like visiting those life when museums. That long hair sheep, is that how they fenced them in?

ReplyDeleteI think I might have visited that very many years ago but it didn't look as well developed and interesting as that.

A glance at some old ways. And it looks inviting in a strangely romantic way.
ReplyDeleteThat cobblestoned path looks so inviting, but perhaps not for your rollator, YAM.
