What You See Is What You Get. This is a journal blog, an explore-blog, a bit of this and that blog. Sharing where the mood takes me. Perhaps it will take you too.
I love the abbey photos. I'm undecided however about the cars in the first one - anachronism or time travel?? I suspect the gravel area might be the root of my discomfort with the picture; the gravelled bit doesn't do justice to anything. The buildings are in a beautiful colour of stone.
Hari OM It kinda felt like time travel... the approach to the car park was via a very narrow gatehouse (seen in the new video!); the cafteria is in what would have been stables, I imagine, for the Tudor part of the buildings that you see in that photograph - and which are still very much in use. Hence the need for that parking area. Yxx
Hi Yam - what a lovely range of photos ... so pleased 'The Grey' is being so successful - and yes - it looks smart. You really did have a successful trip. Cheers Hilary
Oh Yam, these are all stunning. Each one is my favorite, all of them. I love the zoom effect and that train in the last photo. the first one is all about the composition, I feel like the sky is drawing me into the photo. LOVE IT. it gets wow and wow.. all those old stones are speaking to my heart. the Grey is looking marvelous.
Beautiful photos Yam! The sky does look lovely in the first photo. Cool views of the ruins, the viaduct and the mountain and sheep reflected in your mirror. I am looking to more of your travels in the Grey. Take care, have a great day and week ahead.
Great pictures.
