What You See Is What You Get. This is a journal blog, an explore-blog, a bit of this and that blog. Sharing where the mood takes me. Perhaps it will take you too.
Lucky Dube was SA's answer to Jimmy Cliff. His lyrics were socially, philosophically, and politically minded. He started out in Zulu Mbaqanga music before discovering Rastafari and Reggae. Old hands here know I like me some Reggae, so here it is South African style.
A jolly but unsophisticated dancing style! I just looked up Lucky on Wikipedia. How tragic that his luck ran out when he was murdered by a gang of armed robbers in 2007.
it is impossible to stay still, even while sitting when listening to his music. I like his reggae much better than the style here... its such a happy sound.... I love it
What a way to cheer me up! Thank YOU! Reggae is the best for mood altering! Thank you for your condolences, it means a lot to me. Cinnamon is missed terribly. Love Barb (and Marv, Jo Jo, Kozmo and Nutmeg)
