What You See Is What You Get. This is a journal blog, an explore-blog, a bit of this and that blog. Sharing where the mood takes me. Perhaps it will take you too.
When I see these images, YAM, I have that surge of envy that comes with not living close to the ocean. The Great Lakes are splendid inland seas and there is much to commend them, but they will never replace the sea shore with its tangy odour of salt, and the waves crashing in on the oncoming tide. Tide pools and rocky shores contain an incredible cornucopia of life and you could visit the same stretch of coast every day for the rest of your life and still not unlock all its mysteries. Next time you see those Ruddy Turnstones be sure to give them my very best greeting.
something for everyone today. love next to last of the stone that appears larger than the island, or that might be a shell. love it.. all are beautiful in different ways
Nice close ups.
ReplyDeletewe love the birds... the sea birds have always something special... like people who saw the whole world...
