Glimpses... (all will be told in a later post!)

This is the odd one out... It's the headquarters of the Royal Bank of Scotland in Edinburgh.

  4. Hi Yam - interesting suggestions ... they closed the RBS branch down here ... merging with NatWest I guess. However those pioneers have given us some amazing buildings, which are still standing! - cheers Hilary

  5. A beautiful collection, YAM. A visit to an ancient, stately home perhaps? It is very charming indeed that the headquarters of the Bank of Scotland is still housed in that very grand old building. It looks as solid as a bank should be. People who work in financial institutions in glass and steel skyscrapers must wince with envy. Makes me want to open an account there! Happy Tuesday. David

  6. I'm looking forward to hearing about these great sneak peeks. What a very "bankly" looking bank, I love seeing older bank buildings.
