Well did that week go fast for you too? Zingeroonies round here let me tell you.
Anyway, having begun something unintentionally last week with the themed flower post, am continuing with that over the next few weeks as it saves me thinking too hard.
...or at all...
This week's theme is 'blue'.
Thanks for viewing and do leave your "calling card" and comments below!! Based on usage and visiting patterns, the linky will be open until midnight Wednesday, Mumbai time.
..........okay, okay, I can hear you. Due to limited numbers, am including 'blue spectrum'...

..it's NOT pink - it's lavender(ish) |
Close to blue.
ReplyDeleteMerle.....
I did my best. I did it with gusto, enthusiasm and despatch. That's all I could do, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteLuv, K
You are stretching your blue a bit far I think! And that is definitely NOT lavender(ish): it's pink! But, I forgive you, since they are all very pretty...

ReplyDeleteIn my defence ladies, Aitch came up with the colour blue but when I went through the archives nearly all 'blues' were on the reddish side of the spectrum!
The Thistle definitely isn't pink Mara - but I accept that it is stretching it's reference to lavender!!&*<> Hope I do better with next week's colour........
Really beautiful photography! My favorite color is blue. In my photos, my eldest daughter is wearing a blue dress. :)

ReplyDeleteHey Christine - funny thing is it is not a colour I favour - yet it has a way of always being around in some for or other! Lovely to meet you and thanks for dropping by!
Beautiful especially the third one love that colour ;-)
ReplyDeleteHave a bloomintastic week ;-)
Lovely flowers. Such beautiful detail. I really love the 3rd picture
ReplyDeleteLovely blue flowers.. really captivating
ReplyDeleteHari Om
ReplyDeleteSteve - it is a beauty, but a bit deceptive - the petals are actually only 'blush' and almost white but the shade plus the reflection of the stemens accentuates it! And you too!
Kewkew - Thank you - and that one may be this weeks winner &*<>
Dominique - Thank you and lovely to see you and 'Tiger'!
Very beautiful shots. It reminds me that I should stop and admire more of what the world has to offer. I spend so much time indoors lately.

You have some really amazing colors in those flowers.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful series of photos - I love the last one as it looks like they are made of wax - and the butterfly on the blueish flower is so beautiful - Thanks for sharing

These are gorgeous! Is that a moth or a butterfly?
ReplyDeleteHari Om
ReplyDeleteSophia - Thank you and yes, we all need that reminder now and then - quite literally stop and smell the flowers!
Rhonda - not so much me as the Lord - though sometimes the camera picks them up better than the human eye!
Mariane - Hello! The last is from my own garden and is a massive hydrangea. A different variety is the second photo.
Karren - hey there! Yes, not entirely blue, but close!!!
Mrsteeh - Thank you and it is a moth - you get points for even thinking it might be!! &*<>
Very pretty! I think blue and purple are my favorite colors for flowers!
ReplyDeleteOh I love that BLLLLLUUUUEEE flower with the insect / butterfly on it. Wow!
ReplyDeleteI guess I'd say it is a moth. But gorgeous photo!!!!
ReplyDeleteI love blue flowers!
ReplyDeleteVery unique photos of the blooms. I love seeing these beauties today. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThey are all very pretty photos, but I really love the last one and the moth ones the best.

ReplyDeleteTheresa - I have difficulty picking really - am a rainbow kinda gal... though for close personal use I tend to favour the yellow-orange range!
Renae - it is a moth and I confess the shade added to the hue - but definitely the petals are blushed with blue and accentuated by the centre.
Karly - but they are hard to find - at least in true blue!
BB - Welcome to MENO and thank YOU!!
Alissa - hey there - the moth pic is winning 'wings' down!! The last is one of my owns faves - the Hydrangeas in my garden were monsters!!!
Your flowers are so pretty!
ReplyDeletePOSH
These are great and I love the one with the moth!
ReplyDeleteSuper photos, Yam. I'm a blue flower gal too. :-)
