Tsk.. well the title tells you really. The Entrance put itself on show two weeks ago. We made the most of it.
That statue here may drop the hint that this place is popular with pelicans...
They were everywhere! This was on the far side of the channel...which gets dredged regularly by the local council in order to keep the town from tidal floods.
There were quite a few trying to catch lunch...
My friend walked part of the way back for our lunch via the beach...
We found a great little Mexican food shop where the chef came out to say hello and hear our compliments. The corn 'soup' was yummo - though more of a dip than a soup as such. My bean burrito was tasty and fresh and S had the plate grilled fish. Then we headed back over to Memorial Park and the pelican feeding.
Yes you read that correctly. But you are going to have to come back for that!!
