WYSIWYG

What You See Is What You Get. This is a journal blog, an explore-blog, a bit of this and that blog. Sharing where the mood takes me. Perhaps it will take you too.

Meno'erwhelmed

It's the big day.  Yesterday was wet and woolly on outside.  I, however, remained cooped up in the turret room at the hotel.  First I watched Team GB win the bronze in ladies curling.  Then I spent an interminable amount of time online researching insurance and power suppliers.  Insurance is sorted.  Still no satisfaction on the power front.

What ever happened to just calling up and saying, "I'm here, fire me up"?  Now there are uncountable numbers of deals and none - I repeat NONE - with any easy access to say, "I'm here, fire me up".  Think I'll build my own windmill and methane plant.  Go off-grid...

If it goes wrong, they'll know I was here and that I got it fired up.

This is leading up to a menoloop isn't it?  Better stop here.  Have some funnies for Friday instead. Thanks again to good old Google.

 ....that and a curling fix...

  1. Sending you a hug. Not as good as electricity, but in this instance perhaps warmer.

  4. Thanks for the giggles! Mom says she has had a tough week at work and needed that. I hope you have figured out the electricity by now.

  5. En veldig stor klem fra meg! Which translates as a very big hug from me.

At least you speak the language! When I tried to find everything out, I had to do it in a language I was still quite unfamiliar with. It's now better, but I keep asking people about everything and nothing. The next big thing to be happening is the bi-annual MOT! Who to phone, where to go, what to pay? It's a minefield!

Give me back my hug now! I think I need it as much as you do!!

  6. Changing over the utilities can be the pits, Yam. Fingers crossed you can get it all sorted out very soon.
