WYSIWYG

What You See Is What You Get. This is a journal blog, an explore-blog, a bit of this and that blog. Sharing where the mood takes me. Perhaps it will take you too.

MenoSunday; Life Lived Lovingly

Thank you for the wishes and thoughts on behalf of The Maestro. She continues in ICU. Having spent the week in Edinburgh, the YAMster has returned to the hutch. Can be of no practical use there at the moment.

Holding strong, as written last week, is all good and well, but since return yesterday, have permitted some tears to fall. A necessary 'stress valve' release. They came in response to the vid-clip for today's post; as the name of the Lord was called upon, and one prostrated in supplication.

All that can be done this side, you see, is to hold Amy in heart and mind and pray for the miracle of relief, or the blessing of release. Each day more in ICU only weakens, rather than improves, the long-term prognosis.

In thinking fondly of this young woman who has reached the age of 24 against so many incredible odds, it was remembered that she is a great fan of big cats (sponsoring Camarita the tigress through WWF), having many tiger stuffies of various sizes as well as clothes and a 'onesy' in tiger fabric... but she loves all nature and life, in truth.

One of her favourite movies, it will not surprise you to know, is The Lion King. Fitting with that, and in keeping with the theme of this weekly post (which had been set up before knowing it would bring so much of a personal nature with it!), a very favourite devotional song with a clip from the movie is now provided.

Feel free to shed tears of your own; tears in memory of lost ones, but also tears of faith that healing will come as we sit in the lap of Love.
