Lovely video. I don't think it's available on BBC iPlayer any longer, but there was a wonderful programme a couple of weeks ago, with Michael Portillo travelling by train through Switzerland, and it featured a St Bernard at an early stage of avalanche rescue training. I'm afraid the pup did not do a great job of locating the former politician in the snow hole, showing how much patience must be required when training these animals. Cheers, Gail.
