WYSIWYG

What You See Is What You Get. This is a journal blog, an explore-blog, a bit of this and that blog. Sharing where the mood takes me. Perhaps it will take you too.

Me-Now-Views; when callers come a-visiting, continued

Yesterday, it was mentioned that pre-Christmas there was one day which held a bit more festivity than most of the others that week. Jock came to stay for each of the days, but on Tuesday, he had to snoopervise the cookerising in the Hutch's kitchen, as his mum was coming to try out aunty's food.

The smells were very different to what he was used to. The menu?  Palak Paneer, Chana Dhal, Coconut Sambal, Jeera Chawal, Butter Chilis and Chapattis. For sweet, Rasa Malai, with banana and pomegranate. In keeping with this day's usual presentation, the remainder of this post will be images only.

A festive feast, Maharashtrian-style. Jock discovered he loved chapatti. All was well with the world.
