A sure sign of spring is the arrival of lambs - regardless of whether the weather agrees or not. My new lamb is called Blackberry. He was needing to be rescued from the supermarket shelf, where he was being bullied by a flock of white ones...


Was watching a favourite farming show which showed sheep waiting to lamb...

After my recent rant on the curse of plastics,
look what my favourite Jackdaw couple were foraging for their nest...
right across the street from the Hutch

    I picked up trash off the top floor of our parking garage during one of my walks. Of course there was plastic stuff. Not nest worthy, though. I did see several birds this morning in the nearby park gathering nest materials from the grassy areas. Ah, spring. namaste, janice xx
