What You See Is What You Get. This is a journal blog, an explore-blog, a bit of this and that blog. Sharing where the mood takes me. Perhaps it will take you too.
Yesterday saw the letter
"D" in the Martha Simpson affirmation alphabet.
(Please note that this series has been given its own label here, of
'ABReflctions'.)
Today, "E"... and it being Sunday, as good a day as any to 'exercise' this affirmation!
I am pleased as punch to say I have worked my way up on the recumbent bike in the house. I'm now riding at level 6, for 40 minutes. Today I rode 8 miles burned 150 calories. I think I earned a bowl of I Scream. I hope with fall on the doorstep we can once again start walking in the crisp outdoors air soon.Hugs to you and Dad Cecilia
I feel fortunate to have been brought up in a family that regarded exercise as something enjoyable rather than something one does as a penance. That said, back in Aberdeen this evening I've been slumped in front of the telly watching Tour de France highlights and an old Michael Palin travel programme. Thinking of you. Cheers, Gail.
excercise is my number 1, and the excercises in the pool to start the day is top of the list. sleep is also good but that I can't control. if i am upset I can't sleep, feeling good, I can sleep.. i know there is a 3 but am drawing a blank. maybe a project could be what energizes me

ReplyDeleteThinking of you.
Cheers, Gail.
Walking is at the top of the list. And yes, a solid night's sleep (a rarity:). And quality time with family.
ReplyDeleteSome time mental part of my job wears me out more then the physical part of it.
