What You See Is What You Get. This is a journal blog, an explore-blog, a bit of this and that blog. Sharing where the mood takes me. Perhaps it will take you too.

Menorflexion; Alpha-Betting Resilience

Yesterday saw the letter "F" in the Martha Simpson affirmation alphabet. (Please note that this series has been given its own label here, of 'ABReflctions'.)

"G" is something that has grown a lot as a meme in social media. At times I feel the word and meaning are little disempowered by such use and the giving of 'lip-service' to it. To genuinely feel gratitude can actually take some effort. I really like Martha's advice here...

  3. I can produce a fairly long list, but write so slowly I forget number two. The good point is, I know they are there.

  5. Hi YAM-Aunty. Thankyou for reminding Gail to be grateful for me. Although I would prefer it if that gratitude were expressing in a more tangible way than writing a list which reads Bertie, Bertie, Bertie, Bertie, Bertie.
    Toodle pip!

  9. Still laughing at Lonestar cats answer and list. If I was making of list of things I'm grateful for man would be long to. It's a great way to think about how blessed we are in all this chaos we're living in

  11. It's great to have a series to follow like this (and I'm grateful), and we know you are swamped in care-giving, but we also seek a little reassurance every so often that you are OK, keeping head above water so to speak. Mr T is grateful that the daytime temperatures are dropping a bit. F will be grateful when his fur-shedding slows down to manageable levels again! Furrings and Purrings from us both.
