What You See Is What You Get. This is a journal blog, an explore-blog, a bit of this and that blog. Sharing where the mood takes me. Perhaps it will take you too.

Yesterday saw the letter "G" in the Martha Simpson affirmation alphabet. (Please note that this series has been given its own label here, of 'ABReflctions'.)

"H"opefulness is something we are all rather in need of now. It has been quite the year at all levels of existence, as I have noted before. Where are you all in the hope scale?

  1. I have been focusing my hopefulness on 'hopefully' not needing more gum surgery when I have my 3rd post op on September 15. My dentist says he is calling it a possible need for a procedure...I asked are you cutting and will there be stitches...he says yes. That is surgery.
BUT x 87 in the scheme of things this is just a minor hiccup in year 2020 compared to everything else.
    Hugs to you and Dad

  2. i am a firm believer in hope for the best, expect the worst... you already know I am a Murphyite! i am sitting here trying to think about hope... I think i overuse the word. I am constantly saying, I hope it doesn't rain. I hope she isn't late, I hope this and I hope that and that is not the hope you are talking about.. hummm got to think on this one

  4. This verse from Hebrews came to mind as I read your post. Berean Literal Bible
Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not being seen.

  9. Love, in all its forms, is the most powerful weapon we have. Because love is a form of hope and, like hope, love abides in the face of everything. -the Doctor-

This is quote I was reminded of when I read your post today.

  10. I think I am more discouraged than hopeful, Yam, but the month is young. I so fear the kiddies going to school, the ones that are going.

  11. We have to have hope. At times, it's the only thing that keeps us sane.
