What You See Is What You Get. This is a journal blog, an explore-blog, a bit of this and that blog. Sharing where the mood takes me. Perhaps it will take you too.
Long faces in Duthie Park this morning, but every now and then, a silver lining can be glimpsed. Walking back up the road, Bertie started barking loudly when we ran into a noisy little bundle of black fluff called Bailey. Bailey's owner lives just around the corner but I hadn't really spoken to her before. So she apologised for her dog barking and I said no, Bertie started it, and quipped that I thought he was just airing his views on the latest Covid restrictions. Cue a long conversation - she's depute head of a local primary school and tearing her hair out about all the extra work implementing ever changing government edicts. A really friendly lady, on hearing I lived alone, she repeatedly said if I wanted a doorstep chat or needed help, I must knock on her door any time, I'd always be welcome. I walked home once again feeling lucky to live in such a friendly neighbourhood. Cheers, Gail.
Wise words...if I am not the solution I try to let things go. I'm not always successful
