Last month I introduced you to Snow and Curt, vanlifers taking themselves through Central America on the second part of their global (ten-year plan) tour. I have 'joined' their support team; they are so fun to travel with (and it's great that the tubular channel permits that sort of income for their more prominent clients). Even subscribing is support, though, so I am going to share with you another of my fave channels... it is interesting to me that I am enjoying these things as much if not more than what is on offer on the television; real life, real people, real situations, real places - and satisfaction of the wanderlust coursing through my veins!!!
Mike and Trish and their dog Keira, travel the country in their Wee Broon Van, called Maggie. This one is set very much in the Bonny Land - do pop over to the channel and check out the other videos. I offer this one as a very definitive Scottish tour...and it is a place you may recall I shared with Bertie Boffin and his Gail some time back. (Missed it? Well, here you go! Part One, Part Two, and Part Three.)
I would like to make here an honourable mention for another Scottish couple making truly fun films. Gemma and Campbell are only in their mid-20s but have already travelled quite a bit - including Fiji and Australia (which is where I 'picked them up'). COVID meant they had to repatriate before completing their grand OZ tour - but they didn't stop. They bought and overhauled an old RV and in their channel Highlands2Hammocks, there is lots of entertaining stuff from the Bonny Land.
love the viaduct , that was super interesting to hear more ;O)
ReplyDeleteI'm wondering if Keira is more obedient than the video camera!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely gorgeous and so interesting!
ReplyDeleteWe love out Saturday evening Tuber "jaunts" with various RV and Van "Lifers"! These have gone on the list for a look see! Thanks so much for sharing them!!
ReplyDeleteThis is the way I like to travel! I really don't like actual travel too much. Too much anxiety these days.
ReplyDeleteMy first thought, as he showed where the camera clips, is it's on the wrong side! Silly me. It's the UK!
Take care, Yam. Love the couple. xx
