Amazingly those mountainous shots, especially Coire Sgriodain, look very like the countryside on the borders of this National Park we are visiting (clouds and all). Here there is also farmed land in the valley bottoms. xxx Mr T
Hari Om Very close - 1934 it was opened! The dam was built specifically to provide water for the aluminium smelter at Fort William (which is still there, thanks to Indian investment...) Yxx
Tis a Bonnie land for sure! each one is full of peace and beauty.. thanks for the spectacular views. on my mothers side of the family I am a descendant from Scotland, only only two great grandparents back... your photos talk to that part of me.

ReplyDeleteBen Macdui had a covering of snow when Bertie and I arrived in Aviemore on Thursday. All gone by thectime we left yesterday morning.
