This is my reveal post by choice, but it is 'late' - and it doesn't matter.
So... what prompted me to plunge into the pool of postings again? Doodling. I was building such a pretty little portfolio of items created on ibisPaintX that I was left with a 'what shall I do with them?' situation. Well, hellooooo A-Z!!!
By Way Of Example Only |
Each post will feature one of my creations to which I have given a name, starting with the letter of the day, and then I will riff on the inspiration provided by them. Everything from Arrival to Zany and going through Hope, Kali Yuga and Love, plus all the rest.
Given my propensity to them, a fair few mandalas can be expected. There will be abstracts and some artistic renderings of a few of my photographs... there is no great pretension to high art, but it is hoped you will find fun and interest in the images themselves. Who knows about the words that will accompany them..?!
There it is then, I'm participating in #BlogchatterA2Z - registered and committed!
I was pretty active on Blogchatter after April last year - through to about the end of June, if I recall, without going back to check. It is a friendly place - but as prone as any such to pass-through connections. I did 'collect' three worthy blogs to read from it, though and made a couple of new good blogpals. If that much is achieved again this year, I will consider it has been worth my investment of time.
More than anything, though, I use this as a chance to schedule a whole month of posts and give myself a posting break for April. It is my birthday month, and as well as having Ram Navami, Hanuman Jayanti and Easter to think about, there will be a visitor. Lots to look forward to, you might say. But first, between now and next week, I need to get stuck in with the work!!!
Your art sounds fun. I'll be doing the A to Z again this year -- the USA one. I saw an another blog someone who's doing the Blogchatter version.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on taking up the challenge. I will be looking forward to what you come up with. Meanwhile, Nobby is gaining confidence by the minute...
ReplyDeleteCheers, Gail.
a visitor? that sounds interesting... and maybe we know who it can be?
ReplyDeleteHi Yam - good luck, and I'm glad to see you're 'doing it your way' ... I will visit on occasions ... just enjoy - but more importantly appreciate your festivals. Then your visitor - just wonderful ... have fun - cheers Hilary
ReplyDeletespeaking of visitor, do we have a target date for Gail and Nobby to come visit you? good idea to do a month that you don't have to think about. I wish I could doodle, but alas I can't, mine are like a 3 year old did it. I got a new tutorial in PicMonkey and tried to do it and got so frustrated because I have no gift for it. your doodles are a gift, a talent. I don't remember a planned visit. Wait! is is Mac1?
ReplyDeleteYAM I so look forward to your A-Z Challenge it will be fun to see your creations
ReplyDeleteHugs cecilia

ReplyDeleteGood for you, a plan!
