That was funny - I have friend with a parrot and the bird pines terribly if he goes away. They become very qttached evidently. And oh, Scotland was so marvellous on my trip north - I envy your pottering in the electric van. I especially liked getting the tiny swivel ferry to Skye - the only one left in the world evidently. And not even any midges!
Good grief, that parrot could give Gail some singing lessons...
