Menoxtra - a little bit on the side.

It's time to make Goulash with Grandma again!  (Micro-fiction fun...why don't you give it a go?) Use the picture prompt she provides to create simple, shortest of short, stories to tell its tale - kudos gained for using the weekly bonus word.  Today that is JAGGED

Distracted, Billy flinched from the jagged frill of Berta’s bonnet.

As Berta bundled herself closer to Billy, his heart grabbed at him like a jagged stone underfoot.

Billy brazened it out. As he wildly thought over how to push Berta away, he spotted the jagged fence which had fallen on the road; too late...
